Minutes of Meetings

All members of our group were present for every single meeting. 


10/3/11, 7:00-8:00pm

Group put together during class time, all agree on what time to meet next week and brainstorm ideas for School creation project.


10/10/11 5:00-6:00pm

Looked at the brainstormed information, discussed pros and cons of different ideas; finally decided that an academy would be perfect for what we wanted to do.  We then looked over the requirements for the project.  We decided which were the ones we wanted to start with and divided up the work.   Tossed around ideas for how many students we wanted to have at our academy.  Decided on the name for the Academy, “Unique Academy.”


10/17/11 5:00-6:00pm

Each of us brought in a possible location for the school.  We decided that we wanted to do Pre-K to 6th grade as we originally wanted to do all grades.  We decided the number of students per class.  Took home an assignment each to bring back next week.


10/24/11 5:00-6:00pm

Brought in what we had worked on, modified if necessary.  Then we assigned any pending jobs after going over the requirements again. 


11/7/11 5:00-6:00pm

We reviewed what we had done, critiqued our work.  Modified what needed to be changed.  We decided we wanted a pamphlet not a handout.


11/14/11 5:00-6:00pm

Decided on floor plans, worked on the minutes, double checked our work so we could make the website. 


11/21/11 3:30-6:00pm

Reviewed the website, made changes where needed, and practiced presentation for class.
